How does WUTiBOT Connect?
WUTiBOT utilizes Bluetooth LE (also know as Bluetooth 4.0 or Smart BLE), designed to provide significantly lower power consumption and faster connection. Unlike a traditional Bluetooth device, to pair to your WUTiBOT, all you have to do is launch the application next to your WUTiBOT instead of through the Bluetooth menu.
What devices are WUTiBOTs compatible with?
WUTiBOT is Platform Agnostic and works with many BLE iOS and Android devices. iOS 8+ for iPad 3+,iPhone4S+, and iPod Touch 5th Gen+. Android devices, while having OS 4.4.2 or higher, must have all of the following hardware in order to operate with WUTiBOT: Bluetooth LE (4.0), Front and rear-facing cameras, Microphone, Distinct multi-touch landscape touchscreen, Hardware sensors including gyroscope and accelerometer, and WiFi capabilities. Without this hardware, the WUTiBOT app will not show up for download in the Google Play store. Compatible with Windows 10 1511+ and with the following hardware; 1 GB RAM, Bluetooth LE (4.0), Front and rear-facing cameras, Microphone, Distinct multi-touch landscape touchscreen, Hardware sensors including gyroscope and accelerometer, and WiFi capabilities.
How do I reset My WUTiBOT?
Place WUTiBOT on the charger, hold it there with one hand and press the button on the side of the charger with the other. While still holding the button down, remove WUTiBOT from the charging base. The WUTiBOT should not light up if you have done this successfully. After a few seconds, place WUTiBOT back on the charging base to wake it up again, and attempt to connect. We can also force a firmware update. To reset, place your WUTiBOT on the charging dock, connect to WiFi and launch the WUTiBOT application. Once the application has loaded, scroll down and tap “SETTINGS.” Then, click the upper right-hand arrow two times until you reach the “ADVANCED SETTINGS” page. Choose the second option “Force Firmware Update.” If you are connected to WiFi, WUTiBOT will begin a firmware update. Once completed you will be returned to the main app screen and WUTiBOT will be ready for use!
